“Crowdsourcing”, defined as “the act of outsourcing tasks, traditionally performed by an employee or contractor, to a large group of people or community”, is all the rage in the tech sector. Some of the most popular sites on the web, like Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, and Wikipedia, are crowdsourced — all that content is contributed by unpaid volunteers.
So why did the CIA invest $12.7 million in Facebook through its venture capital firm, In-Q-Tel?

The concern over surveillance is duly noted. There are some deeper issues here I would ask people to consider.
The psychology behind Facebook: the social network makes it so that the criminalized portions of the intelligence community doesn’t have to do much snooping. It psychologically conditions people to police themselves because their lives are officially on display for the internet world to see.
Most important – the gnostic element to the Facebook issue: Peter Thiel, true to Gnostic form, derides the physical world and seeks it destruction through the the electronic world of the internet and Facebook. That hovers somewhere between old gnosticism and immanentist gnosticism. This is truly significant because Thiel claims to be a conservative.
The deceased conservative writer William Buckley (who appears to have abandoned the Skull and Bones occultism of his Yale days and returned to his faith before his passing) warned us not to immanentize the eschaton; he would be rolling in his grave if he knew it was a so-called conservative that was attempting to do just that.

Hey guys just had to drop a line about something i found out a little while ago on getting people to turn on there naeighbors, you gotta check out this site “TagEveryCar.com”. i htought this was crazy but i know a person that was seriously looking into it, that is how i found out about it, it is kinda like a pyramid thing.
Anyway , i was jsut listening to your crows sourcing podcast and it made me thin about it…… crazy huh?
P.S, i love you guys’ podcast… keep it up

Just listened to “Crowdsourcing” and as always I learned something new & valuable.
What I would really like to do is comment on the fact that Andrew Strom has been denied entrance into the US. Received this info from Larry Taylor last night. As I shared the info with a brother in the LORD this morning we both were struck with the sense that this was a SIGNAL. Though, I’m sure, other Christian preachers have been/are getting the same treatment we just both felt this was majorly significant and that the LORD is protecting Andrew and his family from something that may be very close.
Felt a strong need to share this.
