DEREK returned from Kansas City today tired and sung out. His barbershop quartet acquitted itself well for its first time out — especially since their bass singer was hospitalized for two weeks less than a month ago.
So, due to lack of sleep and lack of voice (singing until 2:30am in the hotel lobby will do that!), we dug into the archives for a timely interview for the Halloween season with Keith Johnson, Sandra Johnson, and Chris Finch of New England Anomalies Research. Are ghosts real? If so, what are they? And how does one go about collecting evidence of their existence?
Please note that the address of NEAR’s website has changed since we conducted this interview in March of last year.

I have to say I don’t know what to belaive,I did have a couple “paranormal” experiences myself but I beleive what we don’t know science has not figured it out yet. I don’t beleive in ghost or hauntings but find it facinating to the stories and watch the shows on TV.When I whatch this one show ( Most Haunted on Travel Channel),I don’t beleive that these are the only group of “researchers”that can actually tell a “spirit” to do something to prove itself and it does one for one..It makes for good sci-fi watching but come on!!!Any way I think it’s all over reactive imaginations..Thanks, Tom
